What Happened to SponsoredReviews ?
As a blogger who take paid post orders, I really love SponsoredReview. This paid post broker has been given me a steady flow of orders. Although it was not much but it is enough to cover my blogging expenses.
So, when I was very surprised when I couldn’t access their website. All I got is only this message:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error ‘80004005′
Cannot open database requested in login ‘SQL_SponsoredReviews’. Login fails.

I’m not much of an IT guy. In fact I almost do not know anything when it comes to databases or broken server. So, the message above almost means nothing tome. Is there any of you who also couldn’t access the site?

Experiment to Increase Page Rank, Alexa Rank and Technorati Authority: Final Result
This the final result of my little experiment that I started around a month ago. Along the process, there’s been some problems that mostly came from my part. The whole idea was based on a theory that when we exchange links than we’re going to have lots of links pointing into our blog. The expected result is the increase of google page rank.
During the process, we I was visiting tons of blog and left a message that ask for a link exchange with the owner. If the owner of the blog agrees, than links are placed - on my blog and on their blog. To make sure that I’ve put their links on my blog, most of them will visit dojimonster.com. By doing this, they have helped dojimonster.com to get better alexa rank. We can see the steady increase on the rank.

Two weeks after the experiment to increase page rank, alexa rank and technorati authority
Wow! Time surely is moving very fast. Without I realized it, it’s been two weeks since the day I started my little experiment using link exchange to increase page rank, alexa rank and technorati Authority.
The proses wasn’t going very well due to several reasons. To say it first, I was so busy with my work that I barely have enough time to do the link exchange. I always arrive home late for the last couple of days.
Besides that, the government of my country blocked some sites because of that controversial movie (you know what I mean). It really limited my browsing reach. Well actually, I also got frustrated because of that and make me lost the mood to post.
Anyway, if you read my previous post, you will know that no change on page rank, a little increase in technorati authority and a surprise jump on alexa rank(from 6,014,274 to 3,703,762).
What about the third week? Let’s cut the chit chat and straight to the matter. So, here’s the result:
Google Page Rank 0
Alexa rank 3,140,224
Technoraty Authority 20
Google page rank is still dormant - N/A rests there comfortably. There a slight increase on Alexa though (from 3,703,762 - 3,140,224). Technorati authority still says 20.
Anyway, since I didn’t do link exchange for the last couple of days, to make that up I used a website submitter software which I downloaded for free (gonna talk about this on my other post). In a nut shell, what it does is it finds directory websites in which we can submit our website or blog manually.
