The Stonehenge is a Cemetery!

The Stonehenge has become an interesting mystery for thousands of years. Lots of theories have been written based on myth, science or culture. Some people say that Merlin the magician built the site with aid from a giant. Some believe that it was built as an astronomical instrument. While others believe that it is a part of a ritual landscape.

Despite all those theories above, with the recent discovery, a new one will be known. Based on some bones excavated from the group of stones rubble, some archeologies were able to get some info on the radiocarbon dating. It is believed that the site is a burial ground for the first royal family of Britain.

From the radiocarbon dating, it can be concluded that the first burial was set 500 years before the first massive stone was erected on the site.

Well, if this theory is strong enough to be accepted as the truth, than I guess it’s not fun anymore. I mean, that’s the reason why the place is so interesting (some people even beleive that aliens built that place). Now that it was “only” a cemetery…so what!
