John Tyler Hammons: A 19-year-old Mayor

What were you doing when you’re 19 ? I know what I did at that age: went to college, played and hung around, and other teenager’s stuffs. But, it is totally different with this “kid” from Muskogee, Oklmahoma who become the mayor of the city at such a young age. In fact, he is among the youngest ever elected mayors in the US history! - the youngest ever elected mayor was Michael Sessions when he turned 18 when elected as the mayor of Hillsdale, Michigan.
To get to the top, Hammons defeated a 70-year old candidate Hershel McBride who had been mayor for the town for 3 times.
I wonder how it feels to be a mayor at that age?
