A week after the experiment to increase page rank, alexa rank and technorati authority

First of all, I would like to say sorry for the delayed. I know that in my previous post, the beginning of an experiment using link exchange to increase page rank, alexa rank and technorati authority, I said that the progress of the experiment will be reported once a week on Saturday.

But something bad and unpredictable came up: my internet connection was cut off for 3 days due to a malfunction on the modem. I guess it influenced the result of the experiment since the number of links also decreased. I’m supposed to collect 70 links (10 links X 7 days) and so far I’ve only collected 30 links.


Well anyway, here’s the report:

PR 0

Alexa rank 2, 434, 149

Technorati authority 18

No change on page rank yet - still gray. Perhaps it will change in the next update.

However, alexa rank has shown a significant increase from 6,014,274 to 2,434,149. Not bad at all. I can’t wait to see it on 4th week.

Tehcnorati authority has also show a slight increase from 13 to 18. Gusher has suggested a way to increase this by “I favorite you and you favorite me”. I might try that pal :)

    Hi there Ujang, just checking for your updates. Yah, try that “favorite” thing in technorati, it will increase your technorati score, now I have 42 blog authority on my blog and 3 fans (favorites my blog). I think that would help me in the future to gain blog PR. ;)

    Congratulations! But: Page rank will be updated in the next two month or within, so there won’t be any change during one or two weeks’ period, and, I mean, make a longer period for experiment, one week time is too limited, :) Good luck!
