3 Basic Steps To Start Blogging
The reason I wrote down this easy article is because I know how frustrating it was when I started my journey as a blogger. It’s so difficult to find an article that that talks about the basic things. So, when you’re new to blogging than you might find this article quite useful, since I will write down the steps in how to start blogging.
1. A blog vs a website
Basically both of them are the same. However, there are some differences in terms of how all the materials are presented. In a website, usually the contents are put in to pages, in a blog the materials are based on certain headings such as categories, recent post, etc. A blog is also more interactive than a website since it features ”comment” where the visitors can give comment or ask question about the topic. Moreover, a blog is often more personal than a website, because it contains the owner’s opinions, experiences or knowledge.
2. Where to start
To start a blog is quite easy, there are lots of websites that offer you to blog in their sites. If you want to blog just for fun you can try blogger.com or worpress.com. Their service are all free. Just follow the instruction, you’ll up in no time. If you choose blogger, you can use other templates besides the ones that are provided by blogger. Just google the word “free blogspot template”. Or try isnaini.com.
However, if you’re quite serious and plan to get money from blogging, than I suggest you buy a domain and use wordpress. Wordpress is an opensource script and the good thing is it’s free. Then after that you can upload many templates for your blog. You can, offcourse, google the word “free wordpress template”. If you want to know more you can visit wordpress.org.
3. Start writing
When you already got a blog than it’s time for you to fill it with contents. Just write about anything such as your experiences or opinions. Try to write regularly so that your readers know that your blog is not a dead blog. And don’t forget to respon to reply to their comments. This way, you will develop a good relationship with your readers.
